It is located in the Valley of the Caves.

One of the most characteristic sites of the Paquime culture. The occupation of the area dates back to 5500 B.C. and is one of the oldest in Mexico.

Its inhabitants used an ancestor of corn and had such a degree of organization that allowed them to found several subsidiary villages.

The complex has seven rooms built inside the cave, and its name comes from a huge circular shaped barn with the appearance of a giant pot.

Just 400 meters away is the Cave of the Swallows, where evidence of human occupation was found dating back more than 5,500 years.
