It is a large set of huge rocks between two hills and in the middle of a beautiful desert environment.

Although it is made up of a good part of petroglyphs, it also includes cave paintings. The surface of the rocks highlights hundreds of cryptic white drawings. They represent the tables that were used by ancient shamans or healers to call spirits in their ceremonies.

The creators of these drawings are the Cochimí who settled in the area from El Rosario to Loreto.

Location

It is located 62 km south of San Quintin by Federal Highway No. 1.
