It is located inside the Cueva de las Ventanas (Cave of the Windows) and is approximately eight centuries old.
The complex includes 19 caves known as adobe cast housing structures.
The groups or units that are open to the public are: the "Cueva de las Ventanas". (Cave of the Windows) is where the greatest number of constructions are registered; the "Cueva del Puente" (Cave of the Bridge); the "Cueva del Gato" (Cave of the Cat) and the "Cueva de las Ratas" (Cave of the Rats).
Inside the rooms you can see rocky walls, vestiges of clay stoves, painted zoomorphic designs on the walls, as well as large granaries or silos.

It is located in the town of El Vallecito, 51 km from Ciudad Madera and 320 km northwest of the city of Chihuahua.
