The town was built over the archaeological zone, so only a small portion of about 5000 m² has been explored.
In this area there are the remains of masonry constructions with stucco coatings, some with traces of red paint.
Must see Buildings
There are part of plataforms, circular altars, and the stairways, finished in a dice shape, an architectural feature typical of the late Postclassic.
The Mexica conquered this site and made it an important economic and ceremonial center.

It is located in the municipality of Ixcateopan de Cuauhtémoc, about an hour from Taxco, Guerrero.
