It is located 6 km from the municipality of Hopelchén and is a small Mayan city that flourished twelve centuries ago.

Must see Buildings

Two architectural styles were combined in the settlement: Chenes and Puuc. There are arches and rather elaborate masks. You can visit two buildings around a large square.

Most of the site remains unexplored, but you can visit a 19th-century hacienda next to the pre-Hispanic vestiges.

Until now not much of the site has been explored and there is a 19th century Hacienda next to the pre-Hispanic remains.

Location

It is located 6 km west of the municipality of Hopelchén. From the city of Campeche, take the Federal Highway 261 to Hopelchén; the site is located near kilometer 76.
