It is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Sonora.

 

Must see Buildings

The place consists of several groups of white, red and orange paintings, as well as some anthropomorphic rock engravings.

In the first part there are two groups of paintings, some anthropomorphic rock engravings and a sun. The second part of the canyon also has two groups and two isolated motifs. The designs in both parts of the canyon are generally anthropomorphic, zoomorphic and geometric.

 

Location

It is located north of Chinapa, municipality of Arizpe, Sonora, approximately three hours from Hermosillo.
