This is a small area, because the town was built over the pre-Hispanic settlement.

The site was occupied in the Late Postclassic (1200-1521 A.D.) and was a ceremonial center whith 5 main buildings, but there are only remains of the main temple.

As in many other places the pyramids were used to built the catholic churches and in the 16th a small chapel was built on top of a pre-Hispanic temple.

Today it is possible to see remnants of this temple in a wall.
