The occupation of the site started in 600 BC.

The first group belonged to the Olmec culture and people from the Mezcala culture.

The peak of the site was from 200 B.C. to 200 A.D.

It was one of the main cities in northeastern Guerrero and has an area of approximately 35 ha. Here several figurines of the lithic style known as Mezcala were found.

Must see Buildings

The civic and ceremonial buildings are located in the central part, distributed around the sunken quadrangular courtyards, accessed by small steps on all four sides.
