The site was discovered in 1916 thanks to a map used by the Spanish during the Conquest.

On the corner of San Antonio next to Periferico (a big highway) you can see vestiges of a ceremonial area of the Mexican culture dating from the Middle Preclassic (900 B.C).

With the conquest of the Spaniards the place was totally destroyed, so nowadays basically what is preserved are the foundations. You can distinguish the Mixcóatl shrine, a pyramidal building to which another was added.

Location

It is located on Calle Pirámide 7, in Col. San Pedro de los Pinos.
