This site was inhabited from 300 B.C. until 1550 A.D.

Its heyday was from the Early Classic to the Late Postclassic (600-900 A.D).

Must see Buildings

The complex includes fresh and salt water cenotes, the most important of which are Kaahú Hum and Yikliil Cab.

The first one has a pattern of low walls around the cenote forming patios and some platforms. And the second has a series of channels.

A group called Kisim or Group of the Stele that was built on a cave has prevailed, as well as a building known as the Temple of the Columns that keeps inside a sanctuary that has been named The Blue House with an interesting mural.
