It is also known as the Pueblito Pyramid.

The site had its peak during the years 850 AD. until 1150 AD in the Early Postclassic, a time when the center was linked to the Toltec culture. Its structures are distinguished by having a coating of flagstones that were carefully placed without mortar.

Must see Buildings

The architectural complex is divided into four sections oriented to the cardinal points. The main structure is a a pyramidal basement of approximately 30 meters high, unique in the region. At the top there is a wonderful panoramic view of the valley.

In addition to the pyramid, the site has plazas, altars, small quadrangular and rectangular bases, all of them built on rocky outcrops.

It is located 7 km southwest of the Historic Center of the city of Querétaro.
