There are a series of cave paintings over 6,000 years old.
In Amaxac de Guerrero, just 15 minutes from the place that leads to the Atlihuetzía waterfall, on the cliff of Del Toro ravine.
The painting were made with iron oxide was used and there are reperesentations of stars, mammals, anthropomorphic figures, solar symbols and negative hands believed to be a kind of an alphabet.
Also important are the paintings of La Parada and La Gloria, which are located very close to Tlaxco over 12 thousand years old.
In a cave of the municipality of Totolac, in Peña Pilares, there are also interesting cave paintings, on the ceiling there is a representation of the celestial vault, while on the walls two shaman figures are represented.

Location
Located in Amaxac de Guerrero, 22 minutes from the center of the city of Tlaxcala and only 15 minutes from the area that leads to the Atlihuetzía waterfall, on the cliff that forms La Barranca del Toro (ravine).
