Its peak occurs during the Late Classic (600 - 900).
This settlement was occupied from the Late Classic to the Early Postclassic (600 - 1200).
Must see Buildings
The ceremonial civic center was built by modifying and leveling the hill with long terraces at different levels, and it is quite impressive due to its size and the amount of buildings there.
The nuclear zone of the settlement is composed of a little more than 60 structures and the most important are located in the Acropolis with well-defined interior circulation areas.
There are also three ball games, which denotes the importance of this ritual at the regional level.
It has a Site Museum with a photographic collection and topographic plan, prepared by archaeologists who have explored the site.
