This site is also known as Morales or Moral.
There is little information about it, although according to scholars, its dynasty of rulers existed since 633 A.D.
It belongs to the group of cities of the Usumacinta basin, as well as Pomoná, Palenque and Bonampak.
Must see Buildings
The site occupies two low-rise hills covering 72 ha. delimited by the San Pedro Mártir river to the south and the El Sayá stream to the north, although it has not yet been fully explored.
It has large plazas surrounded by high structures which remind us of the architecture of Tikal or the towers of Río Bec.
In the main group there are seven medium buildings and other smaller structures. Many of the steles and sculptures found in the site are display in the José Gómez Panaco museum, in the city of Balancán.
