A treasure that the nature left behind.
Visiting this place is like to travel back in time approximately five million years ago.
There are footprints of various animals such as camels, felines and flamingos that inhabited what appears to be a great lake during the Late Cenozoic.
In the area is the Pie de Vaca Museum with five rooms and a large courtyard with an exhibit of fossils found both in Pie de Vaca and in Tlayúa.

It is located northwest of Tepexi de Rodríguez, one hour and 45 minutes from Tehuacán.
