Date and Walnut Sweet Recipe
Ingredients:
- ½ kg of chopped dates
- ¼ kg of chopped walnut
- ½ cup of white corn syrup
- ½ cup of sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
- ¼ teaspoon of salt
Directions:
Mix milk, honey, sugar and salt and put on medium heat.
After 15 minutes, add the nuts and dates. Let boil until you can see the bottom of the pot when moving. Remove from the fire.
Add the butter and vanilla.
Pour into a baking tray with a waxed paper.
When cold cut into squares.
