WHAT TO EAT IN GUERRERO
Guerrero is "the place" to try the famous nachos.
Throughout the town there are many establishments that offer this delicious dish that has gained worldwide fame.
Other dishes that you can savor here are ranchero beans, machaca con huevo (dried meat with egg), and pan de maíz (cornbread).

Machaca con Huevo Recipe (Dry meat with eggs)
Ingredients:
- 8 beaten eggs
- 1 cube of tomato chicken seasoning
- ½ onion finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes without seeds and cut into small cubes
- 1 chile de árbol finely chopped
- 100 grams of dried and minced beef
- 2 potatoes, clean, peeled and cut into small cubes
- 2 tablespoons of corn oil
Directions:
Heat the oil and fry the onion until slightly translucent, add the beef jerky, chile, tomatoes, tomato chicken seasoning cube and potatoes. Mix and cook for 8 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Add the beaten eggs and mix. Cook for 8 minutes over low heat, until the egg is cooked.
You can fry the onion with the chili before frying the egg to give it a better flavor.
