WHAT TO EAT IN COCULA
The cuisine of this region is a true mix of Nahuatl and Spanish culture.
According to the proud inhabitants of Cocula, you can find the best birria in Jalisco here. This dish is made with goat, beef, or pork, accompanied by an adobo with tomato, chili, and spices. They offer goat, beef, and pork birria.
You can also enjoy other typical dishes like pozole and tacos, always accompanied by good tequila.
The best part is that, in most places, you can enjoy the sound of a mariachi band in the background.
In the Main Plaza, you will find delicious tamarind, milk, and caramel candies, as well as artisanal bread and magnificent ice cream.
