WHAT TO EAT IN COSTALEGRE

“Pescado al Mojo de Ajo” (fish in garlic sauce) Recipe
Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 head of garlic
- ½ tablespoon of salt
- ¼ spoon of ground pepper
- 4 fish fillets
- 1 lemon
- olive oil or butter
Directions:
Remove the garlic with a slotted spoon and set aside. Grind the garlic, preferably in a molcajete (or mortar), and pureed with salt and pepper and lemon juice.
Drizzle the fish with lime juice, sprinkle with salt, pour the garlic mixture and let marinate for two hours.
Put butter or olive oil in the pan and fry 3 cloves of finely chopped garlic until golden brown and set aside.
Saute the fish in the butter and oil mixture until golden brown on both sides. The fish fillet is served placing the golden garlics on top.
