A PARADISE ON THE PACIFIC COAST
Costalegre is a tropical paradise that encompasses a strip of beautiful beaches stretching 95 km from Barra de Navidad to Playa Quemara. Due to its geographical location, its climate is very similar to that of Hawaii.
This destination is characterized by its romantic sunsets, warm waters, and peaceful, secluded beaches. It is an ideal place for those who enjoy being close to nature.
It is made up of several towns and beaches:
Barra de Navidad, a small fishing community with good tourist services and beaches for water sports.
Melaque, which includes three towns – Melaque, San Patricio, and Colonia Villa Obregón – all with beaches suitable for swimming.
Tenacatita, a small town with several beaches, among which Playa Mora stands out, excellent for snorkeling, diving, fishing, and camping; you can also rent a boat to explore the nearby mangrove.
Costa Careyes includes several beaches such as Blanca, Rosa, Careyetos, Careyes, and Teopa, with luxury resorts and condos; these beaches are nesting sites for sea turtles.
Bahía Chamela, with a unique landscape, has nine islands, ideal for snorkeling and diving; here, you can rent a boat and visit Isla Pajarera, a bird sanctuary.
The unique combination of landscapes makes Costalegre a varied destination that offers options for all tastes.
