Tonalá is famous for its ceramic creations and the most used techniques are Betus clay technique, to create various motifs such as lions with the face of the sun, owls, roosters, churches and Noah's arks, as well as the Canelo clay technique, known by that name due to its similarity to the color of cinnamon brown, to create large bottles, vases and tubs.

It is also distinguished by the high-temperature ceramic technique, the benefits of this technique are its resistance and durability.
