The small island also has a fusion and gourmet food movement, so if you are one of those who enjoy food you may be surprised by all the gastronomic offer of its restaurants.

Of course, due to its geographical location, it is also a good place to savor typical Yucatecan dishes such as panuchos, salbutes, pambazos, lime soup, cochinita and much more.

However, if you decided to party and you don't feel very well the next morning, the locals always recommend chipachole a combination of broth and atole. It includes various seafood, tomato, corn dough and chipotle chili, among other ingredients.
