Santa Rosalía’s crafts reflect the region's rich culture and traditions. Given its mining past, you’ll find many copper items like lamps, sculptures, bowls, and jewelry. 

Women artisans create colorful textiles with traditional embroidery, reflecting the cultural identity of the region, including rugs, tablecloths, blouses, and bags, using hand-weaving and embroidery techniques.

Basketry is also popular, using natural fibers like palm or reed to make baskets, bags, hats, and other utilitarian objects.

You’ll find many craft shops and markets offering a wide variety of unique pieces.

It’s important to note that while the Huichols are not from this area, their colorful beaded artworks are also available, given their attractive designs.
