Santiago offers beautiful carved quarry pieces that come from the La Cieneguilla neighborhood, located on the road to the Cola de Caballo waterfall.

Pieces of wood and reeds are also made, as well as clay items.

As in many other towns in the north, it has a tradition of saddlery.

Some of the best places to buy crafts are the stalls located next to the Church of Santiago Apóstol.
