In this beautiful Magical Town that shines with natural beauties like canyons, rivers and gorges, you will find attractive crafts elaborated by the Tarahumaras and Rarámuris. The native people has continue with the tradition of producing utensils for daily use with natural materials found in the area as wood, Sotol leaves, bells and mud, among others.

The elements of the surroundings are transformed with their skillful hands into the beautiful and practical objects.

Tarahumara women make clay pots, cajes, vessel plates, cups and jugs. In some places they also use the palm and palmilla of Sotol to weave baskets of various sizes and they are very resistant.

Each one of the pieces that these women artists make are unique and the wide variety of products such as trays, shawls, ornamental pieces and utilitarian items give you a wide variety to choose from.

Men produce violins mainly for religious purposes with a technique learned from Italian artisans, as well as balls, arches and drums, batters, spoons and carve figures with táscate wood, a tree that grows in the region.  

You can also find wool blankets and girdles with geometric figures.
