This beautiful Magical Town has a wide variety of handicrafts, but it is known for the elaboration of typical clothes such as huipiles (a tunic-like garmen commonly made from cotton), huaraches (sandals), bags, beautifully embroidered blouses and guayaberas (a men's summer shirt, worn outside the trousers).

The artisians of Valladolid also made straw items, hammocks, pieces carved in stone and saddlery products.
