Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) is one of the top tourist attraction of this destination. This famous pedestrian-only avenue runs parallel to the beach and is lined with restaurants, galleries, dive shops, artisan and boutique stores, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
The 5th Avenue gathers the main malls and a bounty of flea market-style stalls too, filled with locally made goods and souvenirs. When you walk along the street you can experience the lively atmosphere of Playa del Carmen. The destination do not have huge malls but you will certainly enjoy your shopping day. - Plaza Paseo del Carmen
It is one of the first places that were opened in Playa del Carmen. It is located in front of the pier where you take the ferry to travel to Cozumel. This open-air mall offers jewelry stores, restaurants and attractive central courtyard where you can enjoy a donut and a coffee.
- Calle Corazón
The shopping center owes its name to the fact that it is located on a small street that was named that way, because it was in the "heart" of Fifth Avenue. - Plaza Quinta Alegría
It is located where Fifth Avenue and Constituyentes Avenue converge. It has three levels where you can find various internationally renowned stores, perfumes, a wine shop and restaurants. This place is characterized by its modern architecture and its green spaces, which gives it a unique and sophisticated atmosphere.
