Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) is one of the top tourist attraction of this destination. This famous pedestrian-only avenue runs parallel to the beach and is lined with restaurants, galleries, dive shops, artisan and boutique stores, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
The 5th Avenue gathers the main malls and a bounty of flea market-style stalls too, filled with locally made goods and souvenirs. When you walk along the street you can experience the lively atmosphere of Playa del Carmen. The destination do not have huge malls but you will certainly enjoy your shopping day.
