In Puerto Morelos there are no brand stores or shopping centers, but you can walk in the main plaza and in the surrounding blocks where you will find different shops or stalls with a wide variety of items such as hats, beach bags, handmade jewelry, clothing and accessories inspired by the Mayan culture, hammocks, hand-painted pottery and seashell mobiles, among many other things.

Some of these products are made by residents, but there are others that come from other parts of Mexico.

You will also find some organic personal care items, delicious tequilas and other surprises.

TIP:

Bargaining is acceptable and credit cards are not accepted in many places in the city, so make sure you have enough "pesos" to buy your souvenirs.
