SIMBOLOGIA-PUEBLOS-MAGICOS-1

ECOLOGICAL, GHOSTLY AND A PLACE WHERE ART HAS BEEN REBORN

This town gained importance with the discovery of the Santa Brígida mine, which contained gold, silver, copper, and zinc.

It is best known as a "ghost town" because it was forgotten for many decades. However, it is now considered a Historical Heritage site and a Magical Town.

Originally, it was a Chichimeca settlement, and during the colonial period, it was an important agricultural enclave. In the 18th century, it became a mining center. As a result, there are still significant remnants of haciendas and mines.

It is located 115 km from the city of Guanajuato, 86 km from Querétaro, and 312 km from Mexico City.
