San Miguel de Allende has a semi-desert climate. The temperature is usually 70º-80º F and cools down drastically at night. The best time to visit San Miguel de Allende is November through April, though San Miguel's climate doesn't vary too much throughout the year; May is the hottest month, with an average high of 87°F and January is the coldest month with an average high of 73°F. The rainy season goes from June to the middle of October. The high season is during winter, with sunny days and chilly nights.
Weddings in San Miguel de Allende require a valid passport, and an original & copy of birth certificates annotated & translated by an authorized translator. You must also have death and divorce decrees if applicable, a held certificate and witnesses will need a passport and tourist card.
