TOP SIGHTS IN SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE
Fábrica la Aurora
Previously this building belonged to a textile factory. It currently houses paintings, sculptures and various artisan products by artists who live in San Miguel.
In 2004, under the auspices of Don Francisco Garay and with the initiative of several North American artists who lived in the city, the first workshops were opened to reflect experiences through the brush, sculpture and design.
Since then, contemporary art galleries, designer and decorative furniture stores, as well as antiques, jewelry, table linens and linen stores, restaurants and what is perhaps the main attraction of the place, the gallery studios have been added.

Jardín Principal (Main Plaza)
This garden is recognized as the heart of San Miguel. It has beautiful wrought iron benches from where you can admire the famous Parish of San Miguel Arcángel and enjoy a warm atmosphere.
Also known as Jardín Allende, it is a place full of activity, where you can see, if there is a celebration, the traditional mojigangas with their various characterizations.
It is a space full of color, music and joy that delights locals and visitors where various events are held.

Mirador de San Miguel de Allende (Viewpoint)
Located surrounding the property of tenor Pedro Vargas and from this point you can admire a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
It is a place that both day and night offers one of the best views of San Miguel de Allende, which makes it a must-see spot to take photos and take home a nice souvenir of the city. It is also one of the places seen by the trolley car.
Behind El Mirador is a craft market where you can buy some souvenirs and also see different angles of the city.

Parque Benito Juárez y Lavaderos del Chorro
Designed in French style with fountains, wrought iron benches and antique bridges.
On one side is the area known as the “Lavaderos del Chorro”.

Plaza Cívica
Its construction dates back to 1555 and is located on one side of the Plaza de la Soledad.
In colonial times there was a market and an important meeting place. In its surroundings are the houses where the wealthy Spaniards of that time lived.

Teatro Ángela Peralta (Theater)
It is a 19th century construction built in a neoclassical style.
Its construction began in April 1871 under the initiative of Don Juan Mañón and two years later the theater was completed.
