Designed in French style with fountains, wrought iron benches and antique bridges.
On one side is the area known as the “Lavaderos del Chorro”.
Legend has it that in this place there was a spring that was discovered by the friar Juan de San Miguel when he found dogs drinking water, and that is why it was decided to found the City precisely in this place.
During the 18th century, the Canal family ordered the construction of bathrooms, laundry rooms and a primitive chapel that is located in the highest part of Chorro.
Today certain days of the week various artists meet to express their creative tendencies.
It is an excellent option for walking, exercising, or simply relaxing and enjoying that colonial and peaceful atmosphere that characterizes San Miguel.
