The lower part features a series of porticos adorned with Tuscan columns.

Above the portico, there is a high relief coat of arms of the city.

The central courtyard reflects the spirit of Guadalajara, with paintings by artist Gabriel Flores illustrating the city's foundation, created in 1963.

The construction was carried out by architect Vicente Mendiola and engineer Marcelino Rodríguez Orozco.

Currently, it houses the offices of the Municipal Presidency, council chambers, the Secretary of the City Council, among others.
