This is another typical town in the Tequila Valley.
It has cobblestone streets and a pleasant main square surrounded by the Government Palace and the Parish of the Purísima Concepción with its distinctive tower.
You can also visit the Old Mint House, a 17th-century building, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the Oaxicar Archaeological Museum.
In the surrounding areas, it is interesting to visit Palo Verde Lagoon and El Salto, a 20-meter waterfall in a beautiful landscape. You can also explore the archaeological sites of El Arenal with three circular Guachimontón-style formations, El Peñal with an enormous ball game court, and the Ocoma Palace, a large superstructure.
