This is the oldest hacienda in the region, dating back to the early 1583.

It was founded by Don Pedro de Paz, cousin of Hernán Cortés, and was primarily a cattle ranch. Later, it became a collection center for all the agricultural products produced on the hacienda's lands.

Subsequently, its main activity was the production of pulque made from the maguey plants grown on its lands, and it was so successful that a train station was built within the property.

In the 20th century, due to the political and economic changes in the country, the hacienda shifted its focus to bullfighting, which it engaged in until the 1950s.

Few original elements have been preserved, but it still retains its noble air.

Near the hacienda, exquisite rompope (an eggnog-like drink) is produced. Don't miss the opportunity to try it.
