PLACE RENOWNED FOR ITS HOT SPRINGS
It's a place that has gained fame for its pools of sulfurous waters that help improve health.
These waters aid in improving chronic rheumatic diseases, circulation problems, chronic skin conditions, and of course, stress-related issues.
The pools come in different sizes and temperatures and are mainly located in the southeastern part of Puertecitos.
The hot springs gush between the rocks along the seaside, by the shores of the sea, at temperatures reaching 70ºC, so it's often better to wait for the tide to come in to regulate their temperature.
It is situated within a small bay in Baja California Norte, where retired Americans reside.
In the area, there is a small hotel with a restaurant, cafeteria, gas station, and a landing strip.
There is a camping area, palapas with grills, space for RVs, and a restaurant.
It is located 90 km south of San Felipe and 75 km from the Bahía de San Luis Gonzaga.
