UNTOUCHED NATURE AND SPACE TO RELAX
Despite its limited development, Bahía de San Luis de Gonzaga has an interesting history, as it was recorded by Fernando Consag, a Jesuit missionary who founded several missions in this region of Baja California.
Considered one of the most beautiful bays in Baja California, it offers the allure of a desert landscape where serenity and rocky cliffs surround you, making it a place to truly enjoy nature's splendor.
During low tide, the bay splits into two, with a sandbar dividing two peaceful bays. There is no nearby village, and along its shores, you'll find only a small hotel, a few houses, and some trailers.
Located exactly between Puertecitos and this bay are the Enchanted Islands, among which El Huerfanito stands out. Covered entirely in guano, its whiteness, combined with the sun's rays, is very appealing.
It is a two-and-a-half-hour drive south of San Felipe and two hours from Puertecitos. It boasts three airstrips.
