It is located in the Sierra Alta, where misty landscapes prevail.

The atrium is surrounded by thick walls. Its plateresque façade stands out, with a Gothic-style rosette above the entrance, as well as vegetal and angelic stone decorations on the arch.

Inside the church nave, a beautiful stone pulpit and an atrium with finely carved arches made of the same material are preserved. The columns with decorated capitals featuring delicate acanthus leaves and pearl threads on the shafts have also been preserved, along with the Augustinian coats of arms carved in stone as part of the arches' spandrels.

Sierra Alta offers beautiful landscapes and natural attractions such as the Azteca Lagoon, ideal for fishing, camping, and kayaking. Additionally, the area has extraordinary gastronomy and attractive crafts such as guitar-making.

Location

Porfirio Díaz 3, Centro, Molango, Hgo. It is located 138 km, approximately two and a half hours from Pachuca.
