SIMBOLOGIA-PUEBLOS-MAGICOS-1

A DREAM PLACE FOR MOUNTAINEERING LOVERS

It is located in the region of the High Mountains, between two large canyons, the Jampa River to the north and the Atoyac River to the south, near the cities of Córdoba, Orizaba, and Huatusco, at the foot of the Citlaltépetl or Pico de Orizaba.

It is a colorful town where history, culture, and tradition come together. Its atmosphere is peaceful, filled with the scents of bread, mountains, and rain that can be sensed along its steep streets.

One of its most deeply rooted traditions is the Dance of the Santiagos, a representation of the battle between Moors and Christians.

It is located 39 km (one hour) from Orizaba, 108 km (two hours and fifteen minutes) from Xalapa, and 301 km (four hours and forty-five minutes) from Mexico City.
