Located near Huatusco, it is one of the last islands of the cloud forest or misty forest in Veracruz, making it a privileged location for hiking and bird watching.

There are also trails for mountain biking and horseback riding. There are interpretive trails and a series of courses related to nature and agriculture.

It features cabins connected by hanging bridges, an area dedicated to alternative agriculture, a temazcal, cheese-making workshops, and herbalism courses.

There is also a butterfly farm and a nursery.
