IMPRESSIVE NATURAL BEAUTY
This is a small and picturesque town located in the heart of Querétaro.
It is characterized by its red-tiled roofs, surrounded by a wooded landscape in the middle of mountains. It has a small square, narrow streets, and beautiful balconies.
Another distinctive feature of Pinal de Amoles is the dense fog that regularly covers the town, especially in the winter months, as well as its rich gastronomy, its huapango music, and its varied crafts.
Its landscapes are the perfect setting to enjoy a wide variety of adventures.
As for the local cuisine, a "Route of Flavor" has been created in the Sierra Gorda. It is called this because while exploring the beautiful corners of the sierra, you can stop at the various roadside eateries and enjoy typical dishes such as “gorditas de chicharrón prensado”, “quesadillas de champiñones”, “pan de pulque”, and “tamales de queso”, among others.
If you have a sweet tooth, you will also find delights like pachones, which are sweet corn tostadas made on a metate.
It is located 153 km from the city of Querétaro.

Axolotl Sanctuary
Its goal is to conserve this endemic species of Mexico, and it is located within the Pinal de Amoles Community Museum. It is an interesting place worth visiting.
Viewpoints
The landscape surrounding the town is so impressive that there are two viewpoints: Puerta del Cielo, which is named because it is at a high point from where you can see the hills protruding from the clouds. The other is called Mirador Cuatro Palos, located in the community of the same name at an altitude of 2,700 meters above sea level and 12 km from the Magic Town. From here, you can enjoy the most spectacular views of the Sierra Gorda.
If you visit these viewpoints at sunrise, you will see a sea of clouds at your feet that gradually disappears, revealing an incredible panorama.
Waterfalls
There are several waterfalls worth visiting:
El Chuveje Waterfall: An impressive 30-meter-high waterfall that requires a 15-minute walk along a river to reach this marvel.
El Salto Waterfall: To contemplate this beautiful 35-meter waterfall, you must descend 359 steps. The waterfall is surrounded by abundant vegetation and forms a 15-meter-diameter natural pool.

Visiting this natural wonder is a unique experience, as the entire journey is through beautiful landscapes. This bridge was sculpted by nature and forms a waterfall among the rocks.
