SAN JOAQUÍN

Campamento Ecoturístico Río Escanela (Ecotourism Camp)

A magical and ideal place to practice canyoning is the Río Escanela Ecotourism Camp, because the Angostura Canyon is located about 20 minutes from the camp. You will have to walk along the path next to the river that will take you to the mouth of a gold and silver mine, to beautiful pools of turquoise blue water and finally to Puente de Dios (Bridge of God), an incredible rock formation.

The entire path is full of waterfalls, large trees that reach up to 40 m (131 ft) in height and places where you can go canyoning. It is located an hour and a quarter from San Joaquin.
