It is a beautiful course designed by Peter and Roy Dye.
Golf San Gil was opened in 1980 and is located 30 minutes from Querétaro and 7 minutes from San Juan del Río.
The course is semi-flat, and three of its holes are played alongside the lake, offering impressive panoramic views. The course provides several challenges, such as stone walls on the greens of Holes 9 and 18, bridges crossing open canals, the exit corridors from the green of Hole 7, and trees with trunks painted with an orange stripe.
