The Cozumel Country Club, designed by the Nicklaus design group, was opened in 2001.
It runs through jungle landscapes and mangroves.The club maintains environmental standards and participates in Environmental Education programs.
This 18-hole course is set amid natural native vegetation, home to a variety of wildlife such as blue crabs, iguanas, crocodiles, raccoons and a multitude of birds; it is also the first golf course in Mexico that has achieved certification as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
It is located 10 minutes from the International Airport and 20 minutes from the cruise docks.
