Sierra Gorda Reserve

The reserve is the habitat of 327 species of birds, which can be observed especially in the Sótano del Barro, Puente de Dios, the Chuvejé Waterfall, around the Jalpan Dam and in Las Adjuntas.

The Sótano del Barro is located in the Sierra Gorda and is one of the deepest abysses on the planet, with a free fall shot of 410 m (1,345 ft). The great green macaw lives in this amazing place. Every day at 7 am and at sunset you can see when they leave and when they return.
