TROPICAL PARADISE WITH CENTURIES OF HISTORY
Colorful port with ancient monuments of colonial and contemporary architecture.
San Blas was also a major shi-building dock and was the port the starting point of Fray Junípero Serra's evangelization journey to the Californias. In fact, it was considered one of the most important ports of New Spain in the 18th century.
Visiting San Blas is like traveling back in time, as strolling through its streets allows you to relive past eras amidst the warm provincial atmosphere.
Currently, it is considered one of the tourist sites that still preserves its ecological environment with estuaries, marshes, mangroves, and hundreds of birds. San Blas is also a place to enjoy cuisine with a number of tropical fruits and the freshest seafood. It is also a good place for shopping, in the town center, you can find a wide variety of crafts made by indigenous people from the region.
