La Ex-Aduana Marítima (Customs House)

This hill is also known as Cerro de la Contaduría. This is due to the buildings located there, considered some of the most important colonial remains on the Mexican Pacific coast.

On this hill, you can find the old Fort of San Blas, also known as La Contaduría (currently semi-restored), and the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary "La Marinera," which dates back to 1769.

Cocodrilario Kiekari

Its name is a Huichol word meaning "community," and it is located among the mangroves of the Tovara. It houses several river and swamp crocodiles, but you can also see other animals such as macaws, coatis, jaguars, and white-tailed deer, among others. It is an opportunity to learn more about the region's wildlife, and the tours are always accompanied by an expert.

Ex-Aduana Marítima

It was built in the 19th century with the purpose of controlling the flow of goods arriving at the port.

El Faro de la Isla del Rey (Lighthouse)

Located in front of the estuary at the top of Cerro Vigía, on the southern tip of Isla del Rey.

This island has an ancient history and is considered a sacred place according to the Wixarika or Huichol vision, and as such, it is cared for and preserved. For centuries, they have made offerings to the Goddess of the Sea, Aramara.

Fuerte de San Blas

Fort of San Blas is also known as La Contaduría de San Blas.

This building dates back to 1760 and was constructed to protect the port from constant pirate attacks.

It consists of tall and thick stone walls that surround Cerro de San Basilio.

Piedra Blanca

It is a rock formation located just off the coast of San Blas. According to the Wixarika cosmology, this natural monument was the first solid object formed on the planet, and they call it Tatei Haramara.

It is a place where pilgrimages are still held, and at its summit, there is an image of Our Lady of the Rosary, also known as La Marinera.
