In the northern part of Zacatlán, Jicolapa is located at an altitude of 2,100 meters.
Here, the first winery and liquor factory in the region, called Los Pericos, was founded.
It is a place where the Lord of Jicolapa is venerated, as it was an image that appeared on the walls of what has now become a beautiful chapel. Another notable place you can visit is the Church of Our Lady of Light.
The area is known for water pools called "Los Baños," which contain clear waters that form pools and ponds where you can cool off.
Jicolapa is also famous for the Passion of Jesus reenactment that takes place during Holy Week, in which a large part of the community participates.
It is located 5.6 km from Zacatlán.
