A wonderful forest community where you can learn more about the technique of extracting gum.

The village was founded in 1936 by a group of chicleros who came from Veracruz, and to this day, it has remained committed to sustainable forest management, including the conservation of 716 hectares in an area called El Huasteco Forest Reserve. It is precisely within this area that you can appreciate ancient trees and a beautiful lagoon. There are several viewpoints where you can admire the beauty of the place.

You can explore the area by bike or walk along interpretive trails. You can also take a raft ride on the lagoon or enjoy bird-watching.
