It has nine rooms where Frida Kahlo's life is chronologically narrated through touchscreens, audio, object boxes, infographics, and diagrams.

One of the highlights is the room dedicated to lightbox reproductions of her works, as well as examples of her typical attire.

There is a mini theater in the center of the museum showing a 15-minute video mapping of important events in the painter's life.

The museum also has a shop with attractive objects and a restaurant that aims to be on par with the museum, paying homage to the artist and turning cuisine into art.
